Welcome to our English-adventure camp for children (aged 10 years and over) in Allgäu, Bavaria and on the Baltic Sea.

English language around the clock, integrated into exciting outdoor activities and projects.

 

What is Sprachcamp Allgäu?
It is a one week English language camp that runs during Easter, Whitsun and the summer holidays in the Upper Allgäu, Bavaria. Here, English is learnt through adventure, projects and fun activities.

 

At our language camp you are surrounded, the whole time, by the English language – our language trainer’s accompany you on your English language adventure in “The Allgäuer Jungle”. There, you get the opportunity to climb trees the “native way”, you build an “Explorers” ropes bridge, and discover the mystery of the ‘Holy Poles’. As well as these there are many other exciting activities and projects which will help your language learning along the way.

 

Previous language experience required…?

The camp is suitable for those who have already learnt English for half a year. The “workshops” and activities take place in small groups with a maximum of 12 students with 2 language coaches, which allows us to cater for different standards of language knowledge.

 

Sample Programme
In the summer “Allgäuer Jungle”, we go on an expedition and build a Highland crossing – simply done with ropes, karabiners and a bit of team work. We visit some Allgäuer rocks – in English of course. As well as this we produce our own film and take on the ‘Fridge Poetry’ challenge – being based in the sunny Allgäu we are able to do everything outside. In the unusual event of the weather turning sour, we are able to offer these activities in an indoor setting.
